Scope and Responsibility
All Saints Protective Services is a small, minority owned business certified to provided security guard and patrol services in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Washington D.C. and the state of Maryland. All Saints is a Christian based organization, whose goals are to not only provide stable employment for individuals and ensure quality services for its Clients, but reciprocate the gain created by the opportunity to the communities in which we work. The scope of work for the subjected position will be limited to its designated Division within that state unless otherwise directed in writing by the CEO. A Division, for all said purposes, is a group of 4 or more security personnel assigned to 2 or more properties under the command of a Division Commander and Sergeant. Typically, these properties and officers are localized to a single geographic region; however, more properties may be added to a particular division at the discretion of the Executive Office. You are expected to represent the Company in the most professional manner possible.
Serving in the Armed Security officer capacity, you are to use force as the last resort. The level of force is as follows:
Level 1 – You are to serve as a visual deterrence to non-compliant activity
Level 2 – In the event individuals are not discouraged from engaging in non-compliant activity with you serving as a visual deterrence, you are to verbally
discourage such activity politely, yet in a firm, assertive manner. The Company will not tolerate blatant disrespect to any individual
Level 3 – In the event individuals are not discouraged from engaging in non-compliant activity after implementing Level 1 and Level 2 forces, you may
engage physically as necessity dictates
ADMINISTRATIVE
Submit Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports within 6 hours of shift end via email or fax. Failure to comply to this Policy will result in financial discipline for that day at the discretion of the Chief Operations Officer / Human Resources.
Ensure that you complete an accurate time sheet. Though not required at all posts, you may be required to have a representative from the client sign your time sheet as verification of coverage. You may also have to call to clock-in and out on a phone system as further coverage verification.
You are required to check your email on a daily basis for updates from the Company or your supervisor
DAR's and Incident reports are to be as descriptive as possible. They are to detail the events and observations of your shift. Failure to document activities and incidents properly may result in financial discipline
Participate in scheduled conference calls as directed by the Administration and/or Division Command
GENERAL
You are responsible for ensuring that your DCJS certifications are current and renewed within 60 days of expiration
Govern yourself in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedure Document for the site for which you have been assigned.
You will only be compensated for hours assigned and billable to the client
You are expected to comply with direction of Division Command designates in accordance to the clients' interests
You will likely conduct foot patrols during your shift and may be subject to long periods of standing, exposure to the weather
You may have to engage in dialogues or physically with offenders or staff and customers of ASPS clientele
You will be required to have your own transportation. For outside assignments, you may prefer to utilize your vehicle during your shift. Any damages to your vehicle will not be the responsibility of the Company or the Client
You only permitted to wear or otherwise utilize Company branded material within the scope of your employment while on duty unless otherwise permitted by the Executive office in writing
Any and all legal offenses, whether minor traffic violations, criminal arrests, charges and/or convictions must be reported to the Company Compliance officer within 24 hours of offense. Failure to do so will result in immediate termination upon the receipt of knowledge of such an occurrence.
You are required to provide your own weapon.
You may be asked to cover additional posts in the event of a call-out or emergency need
Must adhere to the Chain of Command when addressing ranking management
You are not permitted to smoke in uniform unless not visible to the public
If serving in the capacity of Corporal Shift/ Field Supervisor, responsibilities will be to assist the Division Sergeant in his/her assigned duties as tasked by Division Sergeant
If you are assigned duties as the Watch Commander you must be reachable by mobile or landline phone device during the scheduled Command shift
If you are assigned off property patrols, compensation for such will be included in your hourly shift

Compensation Package
You will only be expected to work only hours billable to our clientele. Hours outside those billable to the client must be submitted in writing and approved by the Executive Office prior to working them to be considered for compensation.
Hourly wage rate serves as compensation for the duties and responsibilities written herein.
Pay scale: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
Rank: Patrolman - Corporal
Pre-Requisites to Hire
Preferred Education: High School Diploma, Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
Preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years positive, verifiable experience as an armed security officer; some sales / military experience; minimum 1 year customer service experience.
Additional Skills: Ability to multitask; must communicate well both orally and written; proficient with Microsoft Office 2007, Adobe Acrobat, and web based email; must be
able to diffuse situations before they are escalated verbally using force as a last resort; must understand the chain of command and adhere
