Under occasional supervision, support the administration of a product line’s underwriting functions. Maintain and perform the coding of incoming business. Assist in answering questions and requests from external contacts. Monitor files and correspondence with agencies requesting information. Generate and process premium billings for issuance.

Maintain and perform the coding of incoming business for premium, class code, term, renewal, cancellation provisions for policies.

Assist in special projects and other duties as needed.

Education & Experience:
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent .
1-2 years of related experience in a related field or position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
Ability to use analytical methods in underwriting processes to find workable solutions.
Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external contacts on underwriting matters.
Ability to use software to summarize and analyze large amounts of data.
