Provides support in the coordination and supervision of programs in the area to which the job is assigned. May supervise subordinate staff, student employees and/or volunteers.
Manage and develop programs for Native American students. Recruit Native American high school students to participate in college-readiness programs such as the Native American Summer Bridge Institute. Work with appropriate departments and organizations to aid in the recruitment and retention of current Native American undergraduate students. Develop and implement programs, resources, and services for students. Establish and maintain relationships with Native American students, tribal communities, schools, and families to encourage and engage in college-readiness activities. Plan on-campus special events.
Assist with events hosted by the Cross-Cultural Academic Advancement Center.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one (1) year related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.

Previous experience working with Native American/American Indian and/or Alaska Native tribal communities, families, and students.
Experience working in higher education.
Experience with event planning.
