The unit secretary performs a wide variety of administrative/clerical and nonpatient care duties. Transcribes Physician's orders, maintains the medical record, answers the telephone, and displays professional behavior and attitude to all customer groups. Candidate should have good customer relation skills as well as typing, filing, and telephone skills.

Qualifications/Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Knowledge of medical terminations required. Preferred one year clerical experience which includes basic keyboarding, computer terminal experience and receptionist/customer service.
