The Global accounts team supports all International sales & business development for Facebook's key partners, advertisers and some of the World's leading brands.
Role
This role will be to assist the global team building strategic global account plans for our team and its key partners. This intern will deliver strategic and tactical initiatives to Facebook's direct sales team (DSO) and it strategic global accounts. This role must bring excellent analytical skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment under tight deadlines.
This position is based out of our New York City office.

Responsibilities

Assisting the global sales team to build long term account plans for Facebook's top strategic accounts.
*
Work with cross-functional teams to get work done, driving plans and recommendations through to implementation.
*
Support strategic analysis of future opportunities by identifying appropriate partners and helping to launch new key global accounts.
Requirements
*
Current Business student with graduation date between December 2012 and August 2013
*
Knowledge of social media, reseller channels and vertical markets a plus
*
Ability to structure and plan significant and complex strategic relationships
*
Understand user behavior and how technology works and the ability to explain each in ordinary terms
*
Exceptional communication and presentation skills around strategic analysis and deal flow
*
High level of comfort presenting key partner issues to management
*
Experience working directly with traditional and new media companies preferred.
