The University of Massachusetts Lowell Police Department is a full-service police agency that serves the
University Community and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. University Police Officers perform

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, 21 years of age of older
- Must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must possess a Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to obtain a Class A LTC Firearms License

-Qualified applicants must successfully pass a screening process that includes a background investigation, an oral interview, psychological exam, medical and drug exam, a P.A.T. (Physical Abilities Test) and a Full Time MPTC Academy.
