Beginning Spring 2013, students will have an exciting opportunity to explore their promotions potential in a newly created collaborative initiative, the University Promotions Center (UPC). Students can expect to work, as part of a team, on a variety of promotional projects, while learning from professionals at EKU. The UPC will encourage students to begin to define their potential outside the classroom while building a portfolio, developing skills that will be beneficial to a job search, and applying skills learned in the classroom to real world marketing and promotions for EKU. The University Promotions Center's goals are to promote the University in the areas of recruitment, retention and development initiatives and to provide student employees with practical, skill building experience. We are seeking individuals that will work closely with our media team assisting in all aspects of pre-production, production, and post-production. Responsibilities include: shooting video, editing, interviewing and assisting in the coordination of video shoots, and assisting with day-to-day in-house needs.

Knowledge of principles of video production. Video editing experience with Adobe Premier and/or Final Cut required.
