Upstream Oil and Gas Inside Sales Representative, Houston, TX

By using a consultative sales approach, this critical role generates new business opportunities for an upstream oil and gas firm. Successful candidates have the opportunity for advancement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Developing a consultative sales approach to create new qualified sales opportunities

• Ability to create a marketing strategy to effectively grow territory market share

• Ability to drive sales through lead generation, market analysis, event promotions, and other projects

• Ability to maintain prospect and customer management databases

• Ability to meet and exceed monthly goals

Skills & Abilities

• Highly motivated and competitive

• Disciplined approach to customer follow-up

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong telephone and persuasive skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and online applications

• Analytical thinker

• Regular investigation and research into specific clients

• Ability to qualify true leads

Education and Experience

• 4 year degree strongly preferred in Business or Marketing

• 3+ years of professional sales or inside sales experience

• Upstream oil and gas experience or energy strongly preferred
