The User Acquisition Specialist will focus on user acquisition through advertisement for a mobile communication product. This individual will be responsible for planning, managing, executing and analyzing all advertising and promotions. Working closely with the internal teams (product, creative, marketing, PR, operations, legal) as well as external partners (agencies, consultants, vendors), the successful candidate will deliver comprehensive, results-driven advertising programs.
In addition, this individual will identify, build and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate media buys, develop and execute a consistent stream of tests on creative, markets, vendors, and placements, and oversee insightful analysis to evaluate performance.
Create and manage the advertising agenda for the U.S. market.
Plan, manage, and execute all new user acquisition initiatives in online media and traditional channels.
Buys, tracks, and manages online advertising in U.S.
Build conversion and activation funnels with major milestones.
Build dashboards to summarize key business metrics for marketing and product teams.
Analyze data from A/B tests to provide insights, meaningful suggestions, and recommendations on action items.
Provides ROI analysis of all campaigns. Manage and scrutinize campaign results to determine how best to allocate budget to continuously improve user acquisition results.
Provides customized reporting and recommendations in support of ongoing business decisions or initiatives.
Manages advertising production.
Makes decisions on timing and importance of creative, planning & media needs across multiple projects; be able to juggle multiple schedules and requests.
Develop and own budget, reporting, forecasting, and overall plan for initiatives. Independently manages full financial process related to advertising.
Work with teams internationally during evening hours as necessary. (Some work from home for odd hours.)
Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or statistics preferred.
Minimum 3-5+ years of professional experience in advertisement including prior experience working in the consumer internet or mobile spaces.
Prior experience buying online advertising a must. Proficiency in new media planning and buying.
High proficiency in Google Analytics and Ad Words.
Experience with managing and optimizing Facebook advertisement.
Mobile experience a must.
Understanding of the youth market a must.
Experience in analyzing key online marketing channels.
Flexible individual who is comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment.
Naturally detail oriented, project oriented, and ability to multi-task.
Driven by analytics and data.
Global or multi-national advertising experience a plus.
Ability to work evening hours as necessary.
