Our client’s innovative Agile O&M SM service offering advances the capability of full lifecycle IT portfolios. They have been retained by a large organization's CTO to help advance their software practices and data strategy. While this organization has an impressive track record of operating mission critical systems, new development and modernization brings new challenges. Like many organizations that develop operational data pipelines, modern technology to support analytics and data discovery allow for new opportunities. To help drive such advancements, our client has assembled a team of very seasoned technologists. This team has one thing in common - significant experience delivering software from conception to production. Team members’ average 15+ years of hands on experience and have worked in commercial software startups, financial markets, advertising analytics firms, and federal agencies. Our client seeks a highly motivated professional with at least 4 years of user experience focused interaction design and information architecture work demonstrated with a matching online portfolio.

Responsibilities:
Design the user-experience for an enterprise data exploration and analytics website, using a bare-bones working prototype as a basis. Gather requirements to determine target audience and objectives; analyze user and business needs; and set scope and interface strategies Develop user scenarios, navigational structures, sitemaps, user/task flows, functional templates and prototypes Design and build web pages for the website using HTML, CS2, JavaScript, ActionScript, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Visio, XML, and XSLT Conduct usability testing, design reviews, style guidelines development, and presentations on style standards and usability heuristics Collaborate with internal project teams to ensure that an explicit user experience is maintained throughout project execution Qualifications:
A comprehensive, online portfolio of work specific to interaction design and information architecture Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent experience following user centered design methods 4 or more years of experience creating top-tier, dynamic user interfaces for browser-based applications Proficiency with Web standards, including XHTML, CSS, Web Accessibility, and Section 508 Good understanding of the (enterprise) software lifecycle and the role of UX/UI design throughout the software life cycle Expertise in Adobe PhotoShop, DreamWeaver (or similar) applications required Demonstrated familiarity with user-centered design process and Web usability best practices Evidence of continuing education in fields of usability and user-centered design Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task Enjoy working in a teamwork environment
