Looking for a highly motivated user experience designer to push beyond traditional software design and leverage usability, efficiency and user experience to solve some of the most difficult problems facing healthcare. Working with the UEX team, you will be responsible for incorporating the HMS user experience strategy into the most important functions for physicians in today’s fast pace and demanding healthcare environment.
Analyze user interaction and interface requirements for a clinical application for use by physicians.
Work with a development team to incorporate the HMS user experience strategy into a developing product.
Create process flows and wireframes as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate UI designs.
Build, refine, and test UI Mockups.
Collaborate with the User Experience Architect to refine the user experience strategy for the HMS software product line.
Help leverage innovative interaction concepts including:
2-3 years experience in complex web or application system design
Required Education and Training
Portfolio featuring application, web and/or print UI design. Preference for consumer applications.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Healthcare professionals and development teams.
Ability and willingness to observe user tasks and workflows in a healthcare setting.
Problem solver for user interaction and experience; not just creative visually.
Experience working directly with development teams on complex technical platforms.
Expertise in Expression Blend.
Willingness to learn and expand user experience skills and repertoire.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
BS or BFA in design or related field:
HCI, Human Factors, Interaction Design, Computer Graphic Design
Negative pre-employment drug and background tests.
