You will choose when and how you will get your work done.Some of the real problems we are solving that we ’d like your help with: Make computers understand every aspect of food and turn that into useful consumer productsDiscovering every recipe on the web and understanding the recipe in it ’s entiretyFind the best chocolate chip cookie for an individual user out of thousandsUnderstand the taste preferences of our users and their familiesResponsibilities @ YummlyWe believe that amazingly crafted products are created by focusing on the user and design rather than money. You will not simply be churning out wireframes that product managers told you to make.

You will be helping to define the strategy of Yummly as a design first company. We want to make Yummly the most useful, fun, and delightful online food experience in the world.Contribute to the high level strategy of the companyCreate novel ways to experience and interact with food with next generation food dataDesign outstanding wireframes, user flows, layouts, and interactions for Web and mobilePerform regular user research and user testing to help inform design decisions (prior experience not required)Design the most useful most intuitive semantic search engine everCreate a mobile shopping list experience that°s easier to use than a post-it noteHelp make Yummly the company people think of when they think of great designHelp turn Yummly into a ubiquitous kitchen platform that helps with anything and everything related to the kitchenAbout YouIf you°re a great designer who lives and breathes the Web, who sees mediocre design and wants to fix it, who cannot stand sloppy, inattentive, or lame sites and apps, talk to us.
