Education or Training Required:
Minimum 6 months on the job training in a meat processing facility is required.
Authorized Training Required:
Forklift / Pallet jack
Lockout / Tag out
Experience Required (Length & Type)
Minimum 6 months experience in a meat processing facility.
6 months to one year rendering experience in a pork processing facility is preferred.
Must have proven knowledge of all rendering procedures and equipment. Good communication skills
are necessary. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and plant
rules and procedures.
Summary of Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Will fill in for absent employees if necessary. Assist supervisor and trainer in proper training
and safety of hourly employees. Promote safety and lead by example.
