Education or Training Required:
Minimum 6 months on the job training in a meat processing facility is required.
Must have experience with wizard knife, cut knife and running the saws.
Experience Required (Length & Type)
Minimum 6 months cut floor experience in a pork processing facility is preferred.
Must have proven knowledge of majority of jobs on the packaging line.
Must be willing to learn and follow safety rules, plant rules and procedures.
Summary of Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Must be capable of performing any job in the assigned area/line at a qualified status.
Will fill in for absent employees if necessary. Assist supervisor and trainer in
proper job and safety training of hourly employees.
Promote safety and lead by example.
Safe operation of forklift or mules.
