Starting Salary $14.80/hr
This is a temporary, 20-40 hour per week position with no benefits

Position performs semi-skilled work in the operation and maintenance of utility water and reclaimed water transmission and distribution systems, wastewater collection, and water/wastewater treatment plant equipment and facilities. Maintains, monitors, installs, and/or repairs the City’s water distribution system, service lines, valves and fire hydrants, wastewater collection and treatment facilities.
No utility experience necessary. Position Requires:
Knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes. Level of knowledge equivalent to four years of high school or equivalency.
Valid Driver’s License
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task, have basic computer skills, excellent customer service skills, strong safety awareness and the desire to be a team player.

Obtain an ADEQ Grade I license in desired area (distribution, collections, reclamation or treatment)
Become familiar with the City of Goodyear Policies and Procedures.
Familiarize yourself with the daily operations and maintenance associated with the various divisions within Environmental Services.
