Purpose: •
The primary function of the Utility person is to assist the Team in safely and effectively performing all required duties/tasks by maintaining all mechanical operations at the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •
Operate in a manner where SAFETY and ENVIRONMENT are of the highest importance. •
Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence. •
Climb onto top and underneath railcars in order to inspect and seal railcars using a checklist •
Perform structural inspections as required. •
Monitor equipment for SAFETY and ENVIRONMENTAL compliance •
Perform maintenance on all equipment. •
Experience analyzing, adjusting and making repairs on compressors, conveyor belts, and pulleys and associated equipment. •
Will be responsible for the operation as it relates to the silo’s and conveyor belts, truck scales and other related equipment. •
Ensure the cost effective and efficient performance of all silos, conveyors and associated equipment at the compressor stations and belts. •
Complete all applicable documentation and recordkeeping. •
Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. •
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Position Requirements: •
High School diploma or equivalent •
Ability to work outside majority of the time and withstand extreme weather conditions. •
Must maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance •
Must be available for shift work when applicable, overtime when required and must be available to respond during working and non-working hours as required. •
Must be able to work with a team, take direction and follow work rules, as well as, take on additional job responsibilities as needed. •
Demonstrate knowledge of company safety programs. •
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurers. •
Preferred experience, skills and knowledge, above the minimum requirements, not required but advantageous in this position. •
Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
