Tenure-track appointment effective August 2013; in Victorian Literature with expertise in Children's Literature. Teaching load consists of four courses per semester teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Master's and Ph.D. Programs with 25% released time from the teaching load to function as Editor of Sankofa. Candidate should be able to develop and teach on-line courses as needed. Candidate must demonstrate a commitment to working with an ethically and culturally diverse student population.
Minimum Qualifications: PhD from an accredited college or university; experience teaching at the collegiate level; This is an open ranked position and the successful candidate may obtain rank based on the following experience levels:
Assistant Professor 1-2 Years
Associate Professor 5-7 Years
Professor 10 + years
Preference: Strength in Post-Colonial Literature, Digital Humanities, print and visual cultures of eighteenth and nineteenth century Europe are a plus.
