POPSUGAR is looking for a VP, Digital Consumer Marketing to join our exciting and growing company. This role will report to the EVP, Marketing and will be responsible for growing the POPSUGAR user base via strategic marketing partnerships, creative executions, and influencer programs. These efforts will be aimed at growing unique visitors, video views, shoppers to ShopStyle, the Must Have subscriber base, and other strategic products for the company.
The VP will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy and use innovative digital methods for growing awareness and usage of POPSUGAR's key products and properties in a manner that reinforces our brand position.
This person will partner closely with POPSUGAR's editorial, sales, commerce, analytics, email, and other key cross functional business teams and leaders to develop appropriate strategy that delivers on digital consumer marketing goals that are critical to POPSUGAR's success. This person must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and be comfortable and confident addressing challenging situations effectively as well as experienced in affecting change and direction.

Develop and execute innovative, creative, consumer marketing strategies for consumers that increase usage and awareness of POPSUGAR's products and content
Lead high performing team of digitally savvy consumer marketers who will partner with email, commerce, editorial, and communications teams to achieve strategic goals
Oversee development, management and accountability of brand marketing plans in order to reach and measure goals
Execute high impact creative programs with external partners (e.g., influencers, media outlets, social platforms, celebrities, cultural institutions)
Accountable for team's consistent application of positioning, messaging and POPSUGAR brand across all components of marketing mix for any given program
Share results and recommendations with key business leads

Minimum Requirements:
10+ years experience in marketing and advertising; At least 3-5 years' experience managing digitally oriented consumer marketing team
Proven success working in a fast-paced, digital work environment, as well as the ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing, and highly competitive industry
Experience in setting and executing digital consumer marketing strategies to hit specific user growth and brand goals
A deep and thorough understanding of offline and online marketing techniques, including proven experience with social
Strengths and experience working alongside other marketing disciplines including research/insights, direct marketing, and search marketing
The experience and skills necessary to be part of a growing media company
A proven and successful track record leading a team
A proven ability to establish credibility, influence and an effective working relationship with key peers and stakeholders
4 year college degree required
MBA preferred
