Reporting to the VP Technology and Delivery, the VP Experience Technology is the WCM and eCommerce (Experience) Technology Practice leader. This role will be the primary internal advocate for all WCM and eCommerce technology solutions.

Responsibilities

Makes a significant contribution to a client in crafting and delivering business value justification, solution architecture & integration for Experience implementations.

Provides comprehensive consultation to clients, and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of platform architecture and application programming

Has a comprehensive point-of-view of different Experience technologies and can consult with our clients to provide roadmaps

Can become a valued partner to our Management Consulting Group and be the expert consultant on a large C-level led systems review or customer journey review.

Internal strategy development of which Experience technologies to build-out vs partner.

Develop Experience Technology Partnerships. E.g Thought leadership with partners around WCM and eCommerce.

Partner with Client Leaders to nurture clients for account growth.

Build and lead an Experience Technology team in collaboration with our offshore team.

This individual helps customers document requirements and create a conceptual and logical architecture for the solution. The solution might include infrastructure, including network, data, middleware, applications, security, and OSS. This individual engages and directs subject matter experts as needed. Individual works with a customer to build business architecture (e.g., governance models) for some portions of an IT business.

This individual builds plans for implementation of the solution. Individual gains a moderate level of influence and relationships with key members of the customer’s team. Creates and delivers innovative solutions that increase awareness, generate leads, strengthen customer relationships and build sales opportunities.

Has strengths in the Insurance and Retail industry.

Can work with a customer to document IT requirements and then provide a complete technical solution for a medium to large enterprise or equivalent sized business unit of moderate to high complexity. Might entail leading engineering SMEs. Business architecture experience needed to link business imperatives to IT transformational objectives.

Applies raw analytical power and experience in solving new problems within broadly defined and implicit constraints.

Exercises sound judgment in obtaining results, with little to no senior team member input or assistance. Identifies the key problems to be solved and solves them independently, using professional knowledge, sound judgment. Clearly applies creativity and original thinking to tackling multiple issues, some complex, to create effective and lasting solutions content.

8+ years of eCommerce, web or digital marketing experience 4+ years of eCommerce platform experience such as hybris, demandware or ATG

Experience leading B2B and B2C eCommerce efforts

This individual can switch between expert consultant, sales subject matter expert, team development, team leadership and solution delivery. You will have a comprehensive understanding of the role of Experience technologies for marketing and can build and lead delivery teams.

Can match-up to CIO’s at Fortune 500 companies.

Experience capturing business cases, use cases / business workflows, and analysis.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline and equivalent work experience and training.

An ability to work through uncertainty

Demonstrated strong verbal/written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex issues to multiple audiences
