Leadership of MDX marketing team to include Directors to Administration covering all products within the Molecular Diagnostics portfolio.
Responsible for the day to day management of the team as well as the career and professional development of team.
Active member of Senior Leadership Team within North America Commercial Operations requiring strategic and tactical planning and execution with sales leadership.
Responsible for ultimate Creation, Preparation and Execution of marketing plans
Define market opportunities and develop strategies, tactics and resource plans necessary to exploit them. On an ongoing basis, evaluate performance and refine strategy accordingly.
Build and foster senior level relationships with senior leadership of supporting departments (finance, R&D, Regulatory, Reimbursement, GPM)
Build and foster senior level relationships with KOLs and industry leaders.
Achieve recognized status as an industry expert and leader in In Vitro Diagnostics through participation in conferences and other industry events.
Participate in developing critical business policies and practices relevant to running the Marketing business.
Active leadership in monthly and annual sales forecasting process.
Achievement of aggressive corporate revenue and profit objectives.
A Science degree required. An MBA is highly desired.
Successful track record in a high growth and profitable In Vitro Diagnostics organization for a minimum of ten years.
Extensive and successful Diagnostic Marketing experience for a minimum of eight years
Proven extensive and successful personnel management and leadership skills with 5 years of those years managing Marketing teams
Proven ability to work in teams and to manage and grow direct reports
At least 15 years of industry knowledge with OPEX responsibility
Proven ability to collaborate with Senior Management in meetings, presentations and all other as required
Molecular Diagnostics background / experience required
Sales experience a plus
