Robbins-Gioia, is seeking an experienced Vice President, Marketing to direct and lead our marketing, proposal, branding and communication functions in order to leverage the synergies of these areas to effectively market and sell RG’s services.
Develops the Company’s branding strategies and guidelines and proactively educates and advises the organization on tactics and initiatives to build and reinforce our brand
Develops the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve our business goals
Develops and implements a strategic communications plan to support the organization's mission, goals and objectives
Collaborates across business units and practice areas to deliver integrated marketing and communications solutions
Builds and fosters collaborative relationships with other departments within the organization to stay informed and abreast of new initiatives, products, and services
Oversees market and competitor analysis and provides regular briefings on competitive issues
Manages the development and successful implementation of the annual cross-company Marketing budget and monthly progress/results reporting
Directs and manages (either directly or indirectly) the Company’s marketing organization, including Marketing Communications, Lead Generation, Graphics and Proposal Development, and Business-unit-focused Marketing Managers
Oversees development of news releases, news materials, fact sheets, talking points for publicity of the organization's programs
Oversees and serves as editor for internal and external communications, including news releases, news materials, online content, program announcements, and the annual report.
Oversees development, implementation and effective operation of Company web sites and social media initiatives
Oversees coordination of special media events
Oversees development of all Marketing and Sales collateral and ensures all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources
Provides input and support to the Company’s leadership in the development of industry affiliations, joint ventures, and partnership arrangements
Responds to public requests for information from members, government agencies, businesses, advocacy groups, and other associations
Builds relationships with professional counterparts in other professional organizations, advocacy organizations, and other community organizations through organizational initiatives and jointly-sponsored communication campaigns and programs
Hires, evaluates and develops staff
Provide leadership to team members, mentors and coaches colleagues, and support team members professional development
Senior Directors are exempt resources who must have methods of delivering feedback to diverse groups as well as having personal knowledge of each "direct report" and team member. They must have a grounding in RG's internal precoesses and must exemplify an ideal RG employee.

BA/BS Degree in a related field and 12+ years of professional experience required
MA/MS Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public or Media Relations, Business Administration or other related discipline and 10+ years of professional experience preferred.
Minimum 10+ years experience in corporate marketing roles of increasing responsibility, including at least 6 years in the government contracting industry
Successful experience developing and implementing corporate branding strategies and campaigns
Demonstrated effectiveness in promotional writing and thought leadership editing.
Successful experience in guiding the development and implementation of web sites and social media campaigns
Proficient w/ Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, required. Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Salesforce.com and Eloqua experience a plus.
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required, only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
