Directs, coordinates and oversee all activities of the Estimating Department. Works closely with Development and Property Management to identify project requirements and insure that Estimating supplies appropriate information. Supports Construction and Operations in their duties of managing the project.
Manages Estimating Department;
Prepares estimates at various stages of design from conceptual through construction documents;
Prepares contractors’ bid packages, review bids, does cost estimate analysis and participates in award discussion;
Prepares contracts with assistance from Legal;
Works with Project Manager in setting up cost report and monthly updates;
Works with Project Manager in reviewing Contractor ‘s bid and awarding of subcontracts;
Reviews and evaluates Contractor proposed change orders.
Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree Construction Management or Engineering (Degree is preferred but not necessary for right candidate)
10 years and over previous experience in Estimating and Construction work in commercial and residential markets
