The VP Global HR Operations is responsible for directing the development, project management, implementation and ongoing administration of HR and payroll systems and processes for The Warranty Group globally. As a member of the HR leadership team, the VP Global HR Operations participates in HR strategy development and execution, aligning daily operations, HR technology and workforce analytics with the organization’s strategic direction. This position reports directly to the Chief HR Officer.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development, planning and implementation of global HR information systems including employee and manager self service and talent management systems.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations.
  • Support other HR centers of expertise in streamlining and automating global processes (e.g. compensation, performance management, talent management, etc.).
  • Administer the U.S. and international payrolls through third party administrators in twenty-one countries.
  • Develop reporting and analytical capabilities from multiple data sources and draw insights and linkages between business and human capital performance.
  • Develop human capital scorecard to monitor both the efficiency of HR operations and leading human capital indicators.
  • Develop and monitor the HR budget in conjunction with, and on behalf of, the Chief HR Officer.
  • Develop and ensure effectiveness of business continuity plans for the human resource function.
  • Work with global HR business partners to drive standard global policies and procedures where appropriate.
  • Create and maintain operational processes that improve outcomes.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service level agreements and evaluate outsourcing opportunities.
  • Partner with Leadership in the expansion into new countries as required.
  • Lead the Operations Team in providing project and analytics support to other HR functions.

    Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Desired certifications such as SPHR, GPHR.
  • 10-12 years progressively responsible significant HR systems, analytics and reporting experience.
  • Experience implementing SaaS -based solutions preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiation, influencing, conflict resolution and presentations skills.
  • Experience with developing impactful SLA’s.
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization including senior leadership.
  • Strong project management skills required with the ability to manage multiple priorities initiating concurrently.
  • Change management experience is required.
  • U.S. and Global payroll experience preferred
