The VP Global Operations is a key leadership role tasked with driving the ARRIS business to world class performance in manufacturing, logistics, test and material management. The organizational structure for global assets are centralized under this executive, built around global business teams to achieve maximum global footprint leverage. The organization utilizes a demand driven supply chain network of factories, logistics and test strategies to ensure flexible and agile fulfillment processes. It delivers a world class manufacturing base which is tightly integrated into the business units creating a sustained competitive advantage for ARRIS in overall cost, flexibility, quality, and technology

Required Skills

Responsible for defining overall strategic direction for planning, organizing, leading, measuring, and analyzing the fulfillment and test processes to deliver approximately $2.8B annually of Cost of Goods Sold (CoGS) value to the business

Responsibility for approximately 260 direct and ~1000 indirect associates globally . Additionally, the Global Ops position will oversee 25+ external manufacturing sites (5 major sites).

Leading material, test, logistics, internal manufacturing and third party manufacturing services globally across the company, including strategy, planning, demand balancing, and supplier evaluation, assuring the most effective delivery of products to the market. Minimizing capital, including conversion cost (direct and indirect) and inventory. This requires strategic insight and significant communication and coordination across all Home functions (including Sales, Service, Product Engineering, and Procurement).

Position based out of Horsham, PA and will require 25%+ global travel.

Required Experience

Bachelors degree

10+ years of global operations experience
