Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify and close new sales opportunities within the Healthcare / Pharma industry.
Develop client relationships and grow revenue within a targeted client base.
Work closely with Harris Interactive Senior Researchers and Consultants to identify best opportunities for Harris branded solutions and to develop proposals that exceed client expectations.
Establish and maintain outstanding customer satisfaction.
Consult with the client and help to define the overall business objectives of the research.
Proactively position Harris branded solutions within targeted prospect and client organizations.
Respond rapidly to all inquiries from potential clients and qualify business.
Suggest ideas for sales strategies and value-added solutions to capture market share and enhance customer value.
Deliver customized client presentations.
Work through sales obstacles and objections to see a "prospect" through to close.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5-8 years experience selling a professional service to the financial services sector, ideally selling strategic/custom market research in the Financial Services sector.
Prior 5 years sales experience selling consulting services.
Must have excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Driven, Self-starter, goal oriented
Demonstrated performance consistently meeting and exceeding all sales and profit goals
Must have demonstrated contact base and relationships within the industry
Travel required
