The VP of Marketing is the head of marketing for NetSpend’s Retail and Partner business divisions. These areas of NetSpend’s business have experienced significant growth and we’re looking for a world class marketing leader to take the business to the next level. The VP of Marketing is a key leadership position reporting into to the General Managers of our Retail and Partner divisions. Areas of responsibility include marketing strategy, product marketing, customer acquisition, lifecycle and retention marketing, and marketing analytics.

Responsibilities:
Drive growth in revenue and profits of NetSpend’s Retail and Partner divisions by growing the customer base and maximizing customer loyalty and engagement with NetSpend’s product and services.

Develop strategic marketing plans and roadmap for all marketing initiatives, programs and tests.

Develop and update point of sale marketing in Pharmacy, Dollar, Convenience, Grocery and Big Box Retailers.

Manage a retention marketing team focused on building and optimizing customer lifecycle experience and maximizing customer retention.

Manage marketing analytics team responsible for providing reporting and insights into the business metrics and performance.

Represent the Retail and Partner channels in cross-company marketing initiatives including branding, social media, PR, consumer research, etc.

Drive partnership and collaboration with internal teams and leaders across Product, Engineering, Creative, Finance, Operations, Customer Service, and Legal.

Hire and manage a talented team of marketers.

Skills/Education/Experience:
10+ years of marketing experience with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.

Significant experience marketing consumer services.

Financial services experience is a plus, but not required.

Proven track record of driving growth in customer base and business results.

Very strong analytical capabilities. Demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics to drive business performance.

Excellent communications skills – both oral and written. Track record of working with executive management.

Highly motivated, positive attitude, and passionate about building consumer businesses.

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Business Administration in Marketing, Communications or related degree or applicable experience preferred.
