The Valet Supervisor assists with all aspects of the day to day operations in the valet parking lot.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Supervise and train Valet Lot Attendants while ensuring proper development
Ensures all arriving and departing guests are greeted in a friendly, courteous manner
Handle all guest related concerns, claims and property issues
Accurately track team member labor, including shift changes and breaks, to ensure proper staffing at all times
Consistently practice safe work habits and verifies that all staff has necessary safety equipment, including safety vests, flashlights, radios, umbrellas (if necessary) and water
Stay on top of operations in the lot to ensure everything runs smoothly
Become familiar with the campus
Set up and maintenance of valet lot
Establish and maintain a positive atmosphere which ensures the highest level of team member performance and guest service, while enforcing and complying with safety procedures and guidelines
Required Skills :
Must be able to consistently interact with a large number of guests and employees, while maintaining a professional demeanor and providing superior guest service.
Must possess excellent communication skills
Maintains a professional appearance
Must be at least 21 years old
Must possess a valid driver license and have a clean driving record
Must possess previous valet and supervisory experience
Must be able to lift/pull/push at least 50 pounds
Must be able to safely and accurately drive automatic and standard shift cars.
Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Must be able to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays
