Operate with considerable latitude in performing highly complex duties related to overseeing and managing the operational aspects of one or more projects within a business unit. Participate in strategic planning, determining issues, and assessing future needs to identify projects that achieve business goals and objectives and/or improve or streamline functions. Provide value-added expertise in developing new concepts, techniques, and standards. Utilize wide-ranging experience to conduct research and problem-solving on highly significant matters. Monitor daily operations and provide direction to subordinate staff. May operate cross-functionally within the organization.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
Manage regulatory, risk and audit compliance projects and requests
Manage strategic initiative projects
Develop various presentations to be given to internal and external parties
Maintain budget and headcount model and provide reporting related to spends vs. budget
Develop communications for internal uses and to various valuation vendor groups
Problem solving aptitude and mindset with a high degree of initiative and attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills and experience with document management, audit, and managing compliance requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
6 years of related experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Demonstrated project management skills/experience
Experience with document management, audit, and managing compliance requirements desired
Prior experience in a mortgage/servicing/default environment preferred
Strong analytical and process management skills and a high degree of initiative.
Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
