Work on projects that require computer setup. Take all clinic help calls from the users for applications, computing hardware, and radiographic equipment support, provide initial diagnosis and supports remotely, triage the help calls to proper parties, and record all help calls into the task tracking system. When needed as the backup for desktop support, take the responsibilities described below: a. complete a daily analysis and monitoring of client applications and systems for any potential performance and/or stability issues; resolves the issues or ensures that any open issues are addressed and resolved b. Provide on-demand setup and installation of Laptop/Desktop equipment c. Provide on-demand testing and configuration of new/upgraded applications for deployment on client systems d. Provide on-demand support for end user issues e. Maintain detailed documentation of all job functions for use as reference material f. Register IP address, active data jack, inventory, and secure hardware.
Minimum Qualifications for Grade Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus two years of related experience. Excellent multi-tasking skills and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction. Ability to resolve complex problems in a timely manner. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Knowledge of Active Directory and Configuring and Troubleshooting Group policies in Windows 2008R2 Environment. 2-3 years advanced Windows troubleshooting, and experience with one or more packaging (SCCM) and deployment tools. 1-3 years experience with deploying Endpoint Encryption (i.e. Bitlocker or Symantec Endpoint encryption/GuardianEdge preferred). 2-3 years experience in packaging and deploying OS and applications at the enterprise level. Knowledge of scripting techniques, Windows installer architecture.

Comprehensive knowledge of: 1. The currently supported versions of Microsoft Windows desktop OS's. 2. The currently supported versions of Microsoft Office Suite. 3. Networking concepts and wireless networks. 4. Remote access (Terminal Services and Citrix). 5. Application packaging and software deployment. 6. Familiar with fundamental performance tuning and capacity management concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry certifications (MCSE, etc.) preferred.
