Responsible for the design of server application solutions to meet business needs. This includes working independently, within IS, with the business side and as a consultant to project teams to assure appropriate and effective use of server applications in support of IS and business goals. Assures due consideration is given to the development of operational procedures, processes and support materials to assure desired change. Offers additional technology leadership opportunities in the form of coordination of collaborative technical activities (like system maintenance weekend or general after hours work), targeted technology R & D of emerging system application technologies, and expanded technical mentoring of junior staff.
Education - High School Diploma or GED
Experience - 5 years of experience in troubleshooting on Windows and/or Linux, 5 years of experience in server and software administration including IIS.
Education - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline
Experience - 5 years of experience with Windows Server 2008R2 and Linux/Unix and broad experience in Active Directory and working with Citrix and VM servers, 5 years of experience in creating various forms of scripting, 5 years of experience in an enterprise IS environment, 5 years of experience in a related infrastructure technology field (eg Server, Storage, Network, Telecom, Database, Security, etc), Experience with applications such as: Facets, CCMS, Websphere, Business Objects, Apache, Sitcore, Jive, SharePoint, WSO2, IIS, OnBase, Ensemble and Impact Pro would be preferred. Expert knowledge of technical provisioning, operation and support concepts; Component (and regression) testing, change control and change management, tiered support models, incident management, healthcare industry experience; Sound knowledge of technical design concepts: high-availability and failover, performance management, familiarity with technical architecture concepts.
