Manufacturer Client Leadership

The Client Leadership role is within dunnhumby’s manufacturer strategy consulting team based in NYC. The role is focused on leading key vendors in categories including cosmetics and fashion apparel to drive customer-centric growth. The Client Lead must be adept at working with both marketing and merchandising teams to frame complex retail problems and provide customer analysis. Responsible for facilitating the use of customer insights to identify business opportunities and develop strategic action plans to drive sales growth.

The Client Lead objectives :

Lead clients on customer-centric journey: assist manufacturer in the development of a corporate customer first strategy, establish direction for customer insights analysis and research, identify potential business opportunities, help define plans to implement positive change for the customer

Play a key role in change management and championing customer centricity across the enterprise with a focus on CRM, marketing and sales organizations
·
Conduct advanced customer analytics that leverage complex customer database (analyze/interpret customer data, develop conclusions, and determine business implications)
·
Ensure overall client satisfaction with service, data application and deliverables by managing client relationships
·
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to manage and execute strategic initiatives
Specific Requirements:
·


Minimum 10+ years of work experience in account management or client-facing role (previous experience may include Retail Marketing, Buying, Planning, Management Consulting, Statistical Analysis or Marketing Research)
·
Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred
·
Strong analytical skills including the ability to synthesize data, interpret results, draw thought-provoking conclusions, and present comprehensive actionable business applications
·
Solid knowledge of retail industry
·
Demonstrated leadership experience
·
Must have experience managing individuals
·
Strong written and oral communication skills including ability to present to senior management
·
A results-oriented outlook with the ability to prioritize and deliver on key initiatives
·
Comfortable with ambiguity, creative thinking, and leading change
·
High level of energy, enthusiasm and integrity; enjoys working in entrepreneurial environment
