Proactively manage vendors by monitoring the activities of their assigned vendors to identify possible compliance issues through daily reporting and other related documents and assist with the corrective solutions. The Vendor Compliance Specialist will also ensure that vendors are performing within established guidelines and meeting required metrics. This will help ensure we are meeting customer expectations and maintaining quality standards within our drop-ship program. The Vendor Compliance Specialist will collaborate with various other departments to ensure a positive customer experience, high quality product delivery and reconciliation of internal controls. This person will also analyze Vendor metrics around fill rate, processing time, returns, damage and other customer escalations and address problems with vendors to find solutions and minimize customer impact. The Vendor Compliance Specialists routinely performs the following:
•Responsible for managing and sustaining solid relationships with vendors
•Set expectations of company policies and hold the vendor accountable to meet or exceed these expectations
•Work directly with vendors to address trends with reoccurring customer service issues
•Collaborate with various internal departments to address both customer and vendor needs
•Ensure that vendors acknowledge, confirm and ship orders on time
•Monitor and Record vendor inventory levels and ensure sufficient quantity to fill open orders
•Establish and maintain frequent communication with vendors to proactively address compliance, customer facing issues and remediation steps for improvement
•Perform any modification or cancellation to Customer Purchase Orders as necessary
•Perform routine Q/A on customer order data
•Analyze vendor data to find and correct issues
•BA in Business or related field or 4 years in Compliance
•Supply Chain experience preferably in an E-Commerce, direct-to-consumer, drop-ship environment
•Order Management Experience
•CommerceHub experience or other large drop ship fulfillment management system
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
•Oracle e-Business Suite experience or other large ERP supply chain, inventory, purchasing and order management experience a plus.
