Compiles and maintains control records and related files to release, drawings, and engineering documents to departments by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes, but not necessarily limited to the following.
- Logs in drawings and specifications received from supplier.
- Folds drawings.
- Stamps documents and drawings with project information.
- Posts changes to computerized or manual control records, releases documents and notifies affected departments.
- Maintains related files.
- Prepares requests for reproduction of documents.
- Operates reproduction equipment.
- Prepares reports and memorandums.
- Mails outgoing documents (i.e., UPS, Federal Express, United Postal Service).
- Effectively communicates with suppliers via fax, e-mail and/or telephone.
