Joss & Main ( www.jossandmain.com ), a membership-only, daily deals division of Wayfair, is seeking 2 Vendor Relationship Managers for high-end branded online retail. This is an incredibly fast-paced and deadline oriented e-commerce environment where you will be working closely with external suppliers, as well as all divisions of our production team (buyers, merchandisers, creative) to ensure the seamless working of our daily events. You’ll be our first line triage/problem solver for a broad array of Operational responsibilities – every day is different, and if you can move fast, think on your feet and solve problems, you should apply!
This team member will be a key player in the establishment and evolution of the Joss & Main Operations process. This is not a Sales or Buying role. Rather, the function of this role is to ensure smooth functioning of the back-end of each 72-hour discounted retail ‘Event’ released by Joss & Main (50+ per week). We are interested in motivated, meticulously organized, personable, and client-centric individuals with an interest in higher end brands and novel retail formats. You will be responsible for working with suppliers to establish operational processes, ensure complete and comprehensive event information, and support the other groups on the Joss & Main team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to process improvement, operations, and relationship building.
Partner closely with Buying team to support and drive operational discussions with vendors and manufacturers as events are booked
Work directly with Vendors to obtain crucial and required information in pre-event stages
Act as the go-to contact during event production, while event is live, and for post-event issues
Take guidance & feedback from Vendors / Buyers / Joss & Main leadership to drive operational improvements and process efficiencies
Collaborate with internal Wayfair teams on overlapping Vendor relationships or procedures
Create and submit post-event analysis and evaluation

Strong computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel
Experience with SQL scripting is a plus
Bachelor’s degree required
