Work closely with the acquisition team to develop and implement asset strategies.

Provide hands on asset management of complicated residential development projects and direct oversight of existing multi-family properties requiring renovation and repositioning.

Perform asset management oversight and coordination necessary to facilitate implementation of projects in conformance with the established objectives and commitments.

Develop in-depth understanding of all facets of a project, including business plan, underwriting, internal and external team players, project design and scope, construction, permitting, scheduling, risk management, reporting, draw processing, operations, etc.

Develop and maintain knowledge of markets, trends and key social, economic and political factors impacting relevant markets and projects.

Development Projects

Communicate on a regular basis with internal and external project team; contribute to the direction of the project.

Review and approval of all project programming and specifications.

Review and approval of all contracts.

Review and approval of all draws.

Review and/or preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to internal and external parties.

Responsible for overall business plan execution, including schedule, budget and performance.

Value-Add Multi-Family Properties

Oversee on-site property management team.

Review and approval of operations and financial reporting.

Help develop and implement specific business plans, including scope, design, specifications and costing of unit and common area renovations, scheduling, logistics, etc.

Team selection, including construction management, design, contracting, and documentation thereof.

Preparation and processing of draws.

Manage compliance with debt terms.

Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to internal and external parties.

Responsible for overall business plan execution, including schedule, budget and performance.

Multi-Family Acquisitions

Assist with underwriting, including operations review, scope and cost of proposed renovations; requires site visits.

Assist with transaction closings.


Ability to develop and manage important relationships with current and prospective clients and partners, co-vendors and consultants, and other team members in accordance with Lowe’s mission statement and core values.

Superior interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills appropriate both for project settings and for interaction with senior staff.

Ability and willingness to think and act strategically with focus on Lowe profitability.

Quantitative and detail oriented.

Asset and project management experience and skills involving complicated projects of significant size, complexity, and of institutional quality.

Superior knowledge of MS Excel and Word.

Ability to analyze documents, develop and manage construction budgets and cash flow related to projects of varying complexity.

Acquisition experience is desirable.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

10 years minimum experience working in active asset management, development management or construction management role, with particular relevant experience in the multi-family residential space.

References required.

Preferred Qualifications
Graduate degree in business, real estate or development/construction preferred.
