The Vice President, Design Evangelist is the front-line leadership role for Affinnova’s rollout of its design-centric capabilities. This person will have overall responsibility for establishing Affinnova as THE innovative leader of design development and measurement technology. Specifically, you would:

Evangelize with Clients across the Globe
Work with and through our successful sales force to create enterprise level relationships with client CMOs and other top level executives
Leverage a powerful cache of highly actionable, syndicated data to generate broad awareness and interest in our suite of design solutions
Provide client executives with thought leadership and systemic solutions to their design processes challenges (i.e. briefing > creative development > design selection > commercialization)
Support the implementation of an integrated product offering through pilot initiative support, expert results presentations, and executive briefings

Evangelize through high-profile outreach programs
Coordinate with corporate marketing to rapidly generate acute awareness and credibility in the design space- establishing Affinnova as an industry thought leader and innovator of game-changing technology
Work with PR operatives to prioritize and implement outreach strategies such as conference presentations, webinars, social media, case studies, trade press interviews, analyst meetings, etc.
Gain support from early-adopting clients to endorse our technology through press referrals, case study authorization, and joint conference presentations

We are seeking a rare cross between an entrepreneurial, infectious spokesperson, and expert authority on design creative processes. Here are some specific characteristics we’re looking for:

Thought Leadership - Ideal candidates will have experience and notable accomplishment in educating senior executives to adopt a different and better approach, technology, or perspective for their business. They will have a dynamic and commanding presence and topical fluency in the design development.
Sales Leadership - Candidates should have a strong track record of generating new business through relationship development and effective selling skills. Supplemental experience in client services, account management, research, and marketing are all valued in this role.
Design Credentials - The candidate should have a deep and respected resume of experience, accomplishment, and credentials in the design space. This could include a background in creative, design, client-side experience, or notable involvement in well-known business successes.
Political Strategist - This position calls for an artful tactician with an intimate understanding, both of common design processes, and the client-agency dynamics that can help drive adoption of new approaches. Personal accounts of successfully navigating this landscape are a price of entry for consideration.
Flexible and Resourceful - Like most leadership positions in a high-growth, dynamic environments, this role will demand resourcefulness and flexibility as the business grows and adjacent opportunities emerge. The ideal candidate seeks out and thrives in such environments.


Current or former design or ad agency principal
Will consider successful, up and comers on the verge of becoming leaders within the agency they work for
Experience being a thought leader with ability to create content that makes an impact (need to be able to think, write, and talk about how our technology can make a huge difference in the design world)
Should have significant speaking engagements, feature articles, and online content to their credit
Experience with technology or SaaS business models is a big plus but not a minimum requirement


Undergraduate degree from reputable school; MBA preferred
High academic achievement (GPA - 3.5+)


This position reports directly to the SVP of Global Business Development while also working closely with sales leaders, corporate marketing, and product development
This position demands a busy travel schedule both domestically and abroad
