The primary function of the VP, Digital Strategy is to improve and maximize the company’s knowledge, skills and capabilities in the areas of digital marketing and technology-driven marketing products/services. Provides leadership in the creation of strategies, solutions and offerings that deliver profitable revenue growth.

You will serve as a resources, advisor, mentor and evangelist in the organization and will play a key role in understanding client requirements, designing appropriate digital solutions, and partnering with internal teams to present technology-driven digital marketing solutions through the sales process, working closely with sales and delivery teams.

You will be broadly responsible for the processes, tools, policies, delivery and quality of:

Digital Services Strategy
• Drive high level discussions on the role of digital within the total integrated marketing process
• Serve as “thought leader” in aligning digital marketing strategy with a client’s business goals and objectives
• Work with sales process stakeholders, help convince clients of the value of digital marketing services to their business – help them define needs and develop solutions
• Assist clients in defining their digital vision
• Develop and publish formal frameworks and methodologies for approaching digital opportunities
• Keep informed of latest industry news, trends, products, services, competitors and relevant existing and emergent technologies
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to understand new technologies that will benefit both customer and AccuData and ensure efficient use of capital
Product Development / Product Management
• Understand, articulate and document market need, market sizing and market place requirements in the form of a business case to support specific industry solutions
• Conduct market research/analysis to evaluate competitor activity, gauge market share potential and uncover new opportunities
• Make recommendations that will drive profitability
• Assist leadership in the development of complete business plans for the account/industry/line of business
• Develop key messaging/positioning of digital product/service offerings, respective to targeted groups

Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Digital Product & Service Offerings
• Responsible for digital marketing and technology driven marketing solutions; will serve as SME (subject matter expert) on all opportunities across the Company
• Coordinate with cross-functional team to deliver proposals and presentations
• Present solutions during sales process and answer questions related to solution architecture
• Drive all technical aspects of the sales process; play an active role in new client acquisitions and new business presentations
• Support and improve the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives by performing detailed quantitative analysis to develop strategies for successful digital campaigns/marketing efforts.

Staff Development
• Build capability within the organization:
• Participate in evaluating the “digital IQ” of current and potential team members
• Provide methodical support, coaching, professional development and training to staff
• Regularly engage with sales to uncover organic account opportunities
• Work with sales and service teams to identify key opportunities with both existing and prospective clients
• Help educate and inspire clients and team members about best practices and emerging trends
• Leadership & management of Digital Solutions Team

Standard Qualifications:

Knowledge of the following required:
• Active experience in digital marketing; preferably in the online lead generation space
• Experience activating offline marketing data through online marketing channels; integration of offline data into a digital marketing strategy
• Full cycle product launch experience
• Ability to grasp complex concepts and systems quickly, and express them in simple ways
• Experience managing a product roadmap (preferably related to SaaS/PaaS applications), building a team, defining user experience and leading innovation to improve the customers’ experience
• Experience in defining scope, recommending approaches, and managing execution of strategy and strategic planning projects clients
• Keen understanding of digital metrics
• In-depth knowledge of integrated marketing and digital disciplines (including audience identification and analysis, targeting, experience design, digital production and online analytics)
• Must quickly become comfortable with AccuData’s current core offerings(Email Service Platform, Digital Data Sales, Search Marketing and Display Advertising)
• Demonstrated capability in managing subordinates
