The VP, Global Communications role will
have responsibility for helping ensure that SPE meets its business objectives.
The position will report to the Chief Communications Officer and will
work closely with the SVP, Media Relations to lead the identification of a wide
variety of public relations activities and initiatives.

Specific Responsibilities:
·

In
partnership with SVP, Media Relations, set broad communications strategy and
goals for Sony Pictures Entertainment and developing a implementation plans
against it

·

Determine
strategies to enhance SPE’s visibility in the media landscape

·

Write,
edit and strategically service press releases, media alerts and company
communications

·

Develop
strategic alliances and cross-functional efforts with other PR and publicity
media partners

·

Will
optimize social media opportunities for SPE

·

Develop
a program of diverse campaigns to maximize media exposure and perception, which
will align with our revenue goals

·

Cultivate
industry thought leader and influencer relationships to help communicate SPE’s
core messages

Qualifications

Qualifications:
·

At least 10 years of experience across the
following disciplines: marketing, branding, employee engagement and/or internal
communications

·

Exceptional strategic, energized
thinker with a big picture mentality, able to align department to overall
business goals

·

Excellent project/campaign management and execution
skills

·

Creative and innovative thinker

·

Experience with multiple traditional and
non-traditional channel communications

·

Excellent technical skills, illustrating
professional expertise with social media technologies and advanced knowledge of
various social tools (i.e. blogs, forums, podcasts)

·

Proven experience with building out scalable
marketing campaigns

·

Must have excellent written and oral communications
skills

·

Self starter/strong initiative

·

Strong relationship builder; works effectively at
all levels of the organization

·

High influencing skills

·

Ability to manage multiple projects with competing
deadlines simultaneously

·

Demonstrated ability to balance vision and creative
thinking with analytical rigor to meet the organizations goals.

·

Ability to analyze metrics and draw actionable
conclusions
