We are looking for someone with versatile and entrepreneurial experience to manage recruiting, employee relations, training and benefits across our multiple locations (Palo Alto and San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Atlanta, Texas, Chicago). As a member of the management team, you will have the opportunity to shape the HR function and company culture in a successful start-up with a highly talented and diverse employee population.
This role requires the HR VP to be a true generalist, and a true player-coach. Responsibilities span across all areas of people programs, and include:
All elements of recruitment, including requisition management, structured interview practices, applicant tracking and analytics.
Caring for our employment brand and company values - ensuring we’re hiring right, and making sure our advertising, event presence and industry involvement articulates and reflects who we are.
Actively recruiting and sourcing for key roles.
Building and managing performance management practices - including annual reviews, performance counseling, rewards/recognition programs, internal career development and employee mobility.
Ensuring we have stellar onboarding practices for new and new-to-role employees.
Training managers in all critical areas including in our annual review and compensation practices; coaching them through employee relations matters.
Managing administration of benefit plans, and ensuring ShareThis maintains high-quality coverage and service for its employees
Periodically evaluating benefits, culture and other programs at ShareThis to make sure we attract and retain the best talent, and that our internal programs meet the standards of our Company Values.
Working with finance and facilities teams on company and holiday events, team sporting programs, philanthropic activities, payroll administration, internal communications, and other employee support functions as needed.
Leading the evaluation and implementation of HRIS, Recruiting/ATS and other tools and resources as needed.
10+ years of diverse HR experience, with a strong preference for previous tech start-up experience
HR Generalist expertise; familiarity with all areas of HR practice, including organizational development, training, benefits, compensation and employee relations
The ability to influence and interact effectively with diverse groups of employees
A passion for recruiting technology talent, as well as business staff, and for helping to build world-class organizations
A commitment to building and supporting a dynamic, positive and fun culture
