Vice President, Investments based in our Los Angeles office.
The Vice President, Investments will have central responsibility for managing all aspects of an investment, including processing and closing transactions and managing owned assets. Principle duties and responsibilities include: source transactions through direct acquisition, acquisition of a debt position, or via corporate structured transactions. Direct the preparation of Investment Committee memoranda and related support including market analysis by oversight of the Associates and Analysts; responsible for understanding all transaction due diligence by reviewing all documents, and ensure that the due diligence and closing processes are handled within corporate standards. Oversee the preparation of post-closing memoranda; monitor and manage existing portfolio of investments by overseeing the preparation of information contained in quarterly Asset Management reports and interact with any internal and external team members; mentor Associates by providing direction in the management of all aspects of a transaction.
Bachelors degree from a top-tier school
Ten + years of real estate investment experience
Demonstrated excellent track record of principal investing
Possess a strong proficiency in Excel and other computer programs
Strong writing/composition skills
Solid knowledge of real estate and investment valuation
Demonstrate attention to detail
Experience working in a team environment
MBA degree from a top tier University
Investment Banking and/or Private Equity experience is a plus
