The Vice President, Revenue Management will create, develop, and lead revenue management strategies and program to maximize top line revenue for Loews Hotels.
  • Utilize fundamental and advanced principles of yield management to maximize room revenue and ancillary revenue, while increasing market share (STR RevPAR Index) for Loews Hotels
  • Works and communicates effectively with Regional Vice Presidents of Operations, Regional Vice Presidents of Sales & Marketing and Regional Director of Revenue Management to instill sound and optimal revenue maximizing strategies and programs for the portfolio
  • Assist the hotel leaders to train and evolve property Revenue Managers to be able to execute best yield management practices on a daily level
  • Undertake key revenue understanding and analysis including, but not limited to, brand/hotel price elasticity, room category efficiency and pricing, customer/market segmentation purchasing patterns, regression analysis, STR benchmarking reports evaluation
  • Identify existing and new revenue maximization opportunities for the organization
  • Develop and effectively communicate revenue management metrics and other findings to senior leaders of Loews Hotels on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Create corporate forecasting programs both automated and manual manner to accurately set the course for optimal pricing per segment and for hotel operations

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical revenue management experience in hotels/travel
  • Proficiency in software systems including automated revenue management systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
  • Presentation experience amongst senior leaders and public forums
  • Self-motived
  • Ability to motivate and lead others
  • Ability to innovate and find new opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to surface all variables in order to formulate solutions
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to interpret company financial statements
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong knowledge and experience with hotel distribution channels including GDSs, OTAs and Call Centers
