Currently, we are conducting a search for a vice president of sales. Our client is an award winning leadership development company with a truly global foot print and a rich history of delivering client-focused solutions to some of the worlds best-known brands.

Lead, manage, mentor, coach and retain the human capital within the sales organization; we are looking for a highly motivational leader who to help with a cultural shift that is currently in progress and that is helping to shape the company for its next phase of growth
Set the sales strategy and hold team members accountable via metrics and reporting (define and report on metrics to measure performance)
Ensure that revenue growth goals are met by developing an annual sales plan to achieve targeted team and individual revenue goals, including the design of sales territories, sales performance metrics, quotas and compensation/incentives
Collaborate with product development to identify any product modifications that must be made to address market requirements
Create a high-quality and visible collaboration with marketing to ensure that the sales organization and marketing group are fully aligned across all target markets as well as to ensure that all relevant internal communications meet constituent expectations (analyzing trends and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns)
Collaborating with operations to ensure high-quality sales information is transferred to the services organization in order to ensure flawless client delivery
Collaborate with the global division to ensure that sales pipelines are fully exploited and realized across the globe
Recommending ways to work across the organization to drive new revenue
Excellent forecasting and planning skills
Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to leverage technology to its fullest use and benefit (; pipeline management tools; exemplary and timely follow up using all available meanse-mail, voicemail, etc.)
A fully developed LinkedIn profile
Experience implementing processes that ensure high performance and team efficiency
Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to foster strong relationships and trust with co-workers and customers
Understanding of the best use of technology to help grow a global organization (apps, CRM systems, social media, etc.) PRIOR EXPERIENCE
A bachelors degree is required, a masters degree is preferred
Previous experience working in a leadership development organization, human capital management consulting firm, or similar is required
Experience in running senior sales teams focused on a business-to-business sale of an intangible service or solution that ideally combines people, processes and technology to complete a client deliverable
Previous experience in hiring, developing and coaching sales teams to successful performance in a timely fashionarchitecting a process that ensures that the recruiting process progresses quickly
Demonstrated ability to positively motivate a sales organization with an eye toward providing world class client solutions
Experience designing many of the components required by any sales organization: territory structures (either named accounts, geographic territories or a mix), sales tools, incentives, rewards, etc.
Demonstrated past experience setting a macro sales strategy, and then breaking it down into measureable parts for the various team members who will be responsible for ensuring its execution
Passionate about sales and the art and science of the sales profession
