Oversees all legal matters, certificate of need activity, risk management, and first level patient collection activity for all entities of the Monongalia Health System As a member of the Executive Staff, the position is responsible for the implementation of the Mission, Core Values, Policies and Procedures and Strategic Plan of the Health System. This position participates in the overall management and direction of the Health System.

Position Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement : Juris Doctorate degree required. Masters degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration preferred.

Minimum Experience Requirement : Ten years of progressively responsible experience in health care or related area to include at least five years of leadership experience and demonstrated track record in managed care, physician networks, corporate law, risk management, certificate of need, and specialized healthcare issues.

Minimum License Requirement : Licensure in West Virginia required and additionally in Pennsylvania preferred.
