Oversee and provide all marketing
services necessary for a retail energy commodity and services company.

Responsible for enhancing GSERNA’s competitive position.
Responsible for assessing GSERNA’s strategic competitive advantages & challenge the organization with forward looking strategic alternatives.
Responsible for product development & customers’ satisfaction: oversee GSERNA’s product development strategy and conduct regular surveys of market participants to gauge success of GSERNA’s products.
Responsible for completing annual analysis of market environment & develop annual new market entry strategy. Look for windows of opportunity by exploiting regulatory models to customers’ benefits.
Responsible for Competitive analysis:
close monitoring & analysis of GSERNA’s key competitors.
Responsible for merger and acquisition opportunities: identify and coordinate evaluations of potential buy/sell opportunities for GSERNA.
Responsible for Demand Generation. Generating an efficient number of leads to satisfy direct sales demand.
Manage the lead generation effort within budget, and align with selling seasons and value propositions.
Coordinate data mining efforts, and manage outsource partners.
Provide as needed and on a regular basis several key performance indicators used to analyze GSERNA’s commercial performance.
Responsible for the definition and maintenance of the GSERNA brand. Create long-lasting recognition and awareness of GSERNA unique selling propositions. To position GSERNA as a leader in information.
Manage (in liaison with GSENA Communications) GSERNA internal & external communications, including press releases, marketing material, events and trade shows.
Will serve a key role in GSERNA’s leadership team and will be expected to maintain an expert level of knowledge of the retail energy marketplace.
Will be called upon to assist or lead many associated projects and initiatives based on their respective areas of expertise and capabilities.
Acts as a team member with all employees of GDF SUEZ staff.
Complies with all GDF SUEZ Energy NA Policies and Procedures.
Carries out other duties as assigned
Essential Physical Abilities
Ability to meet highest attendance requirements.
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
Could involve some lifting up to 25 pounds.
4 year bachelor degree required.
Minimum 5+ years experience with retail energy.
Prior marketing experience a must.
Comfort and discipline managing a marketing budget.
Experience in marketing a service a plus, or creating a new product a plus.
Experience with Siebel a plus.
