Landmark College, located in beautiful southern Vermont and within easy driving distance to Boston and other major cities, is the nation’s premier institution of higher education for students who learn differently. Reporting to the President, The Vice President for Enrollment Management (VP) is the College’s chief enrollment officer, managing recruitment activities, enrollment and admissions processes and the strategic administration of financial aid. The VP also oversees the Transfer and Career Placement Office and is a member of the President’s Council, the senior administrative team providing counsel and support to the College President.
This position offers a unique opportunity to join a team of seasoned professionals, at a time when Landmark College has moved to 4 year status with a BA degree and offering professional development certificate programs for graduate-level students. The VP, in collaboration with the College Marketing Communications team, is responsible for the development and implementation of the College's recruitment plan to identify, attract, admit and enroll diverse and talented undergraduate students. As the nation’s first accredited college for students with learning challenges including dyslexia, attention deficit disorders, gifted LD and autism spectrum disorder, the VP will help Landmark College continue to swiftly evolve to serve the many changing needs and opportunities in higher education.
Qualifications: BA or BS required; graduate degree desirable. Candidates are expected to have progressive experience in admissions at a college or university, an in-depth knowledge of admission and financial aid issues, a commitment to a diverse campus community, and a record of achievement that includes evidence of successful planning, creative problem solving, budget development and management abilities as well as experience in effective senior level management. Experience and creativity in the use of technology in the admission process, a solid understanding of learning disabilities, and experience in developing a cohesive marketing program, including print, video, direct mail, travel, volunteer networks, and other strategies is expected. The VP must be a compelling and inspirational communicator for the College as we advance Landmark’s distinctive mission, culture, programs, and services. Frequent recruitment travel on behalf of the College is a requirement.
