VP of Global Operations
As VP of Global Operations, you will have the opportunity to lead our global operations by directing and coordinating day-to-day activities consistent with goals, objectives, policies and procedures. With an extreme focus on customer satisfaction, you will attain the business plan growth and profit objectives, provide direction, structure and coaching to direct reports.
We will also rely on you to work closely with other executives to promote effective communication, participate in developing and enhancement of the company’s culture and development of policy, procedures, processes and business/strategic plans.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Development and application of key performance indicators
Develop and appoint talent
Create win-win solutions and develop and enhance a “customer first” culture
Delivery of high quality, world-class services by leading several departmental teams (network team and distribution centers, inventory control group, global command, quality group, implementation team, client operations, engineering team and pricing group)
Implement and enhance process rigor
Coach organization in setting and managing metrics while holding direct reports and frontline employees accountable
Create a compelling vision for the global operations group and mobilize employees and direct team-building activities
Establish, maintain and develop client relationships and support the development of business from existing and prospective customers.
Serve as a member of FGL’s executive team and participate in design, development and communication of company strategy
Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, mentoring and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate of offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities
Establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making course corrections
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, customer contracts, quality goals, service levels, performance standards, KPI’s
Create and manage budgets
Monitor, facilitate and drive corrective actions and solutions to cure service failures, customer services issues, client and intercompany communications
Improve and foster cross functional processes, communication and collaboration (monitor issues between departments and offer/facilitate solutions)
Manage the analysis of customer facing challenges and transfer these into actionplans
Collaborate with employees for process and business improvements (offer guidance and facilitation for resolution of issues).

Required skills and experience:
An undergraduate degree (preferably in Engineering; MBA preferred)
15+ years’ experience in progressive leaders positions
15+ years’ experience in the logistics and/or supply chain industry (preferably in the Mission Critical Parts industry)
Preferably 3+ years’ experience in an environment where Six Sigma methodologies are used (prefer Black Belt Certification)
Experience in leading and managing companies, division(s) and service deliveries in International Markets
Proficiency in MS Office
