One of a kind opportunity to be a technology leader at a premier global retailer Responsibilities Work with cross functional teams to design implement and evaluate the systems and applications that support end users in all aspects of retail and eCommerce Provide strategic and operational planning related to retail and eCommerce systems to achieve business goals by fostering innovation prioritizing initiatives and coordinating the evaluation deployment and management of current and future initiatives and systems across the organization to enhance employee productivity operational efficiency and interaction with the consumers Facilitate communication between staff management vendors and other technology resources within the organization Define new business processes and refine existing business process to optimize workflow and system utilization in meeting business requirements Direct supervise and evaluate retail and eCommerce technology staff which includes setting priorities job scheduling and employee reviews Work with members of senior management and the retail and eCommerce business teams to understand business requirements and identify functionality gaps with retail and eCommerce systems Establish standards and implement improvements to ensure that both internal and external customer satisfaction is maintained at the highest levels Prepare and maintains business requirement documents project timelines implementation design specifications system flow diagrams performance reporting and other system documentation Lead the selection development management and oversight of contracts and service level agreements for retail and eCommerce systems services and applications Maintain vendor relationships and ensure that contracts properly support the company Constantly review vendor services to ensure level of performance is consistent with agreements and searches for better opportunities Actively manage all outstanding retail and eCommerce technology programs projects and issues ensuring that all projects are delivered in an acceptable timeframe Ability to take ownership of problems and drive entire resolutioncommunication process from beginning to end Responsible for servicing over 300 retail locations worldwide with multiple offices and warehouse located in US Canada Japan and throughout Europe Ensure compliance with industry related regulations such as PCI DSS and SOX Ability to work in a very demanding fast paced 247 environment that requires constant multitasking capabilities Requirements Comprehensive knowledge and proven history of the following Business principles and techniques of administration organization and management to include an indepth understanding of the key business factors that exist in the retail industry These include but are not limited to knowledge of strategic and operational planning logistics purchasing master data management accounts payable sales audit general ledger open to buy allocationreplenishment store operations CRM eCommerce and point of sale Systems design and development process including requirements analysis feasibility studies software design programming pilot testing installation evaluation and operational management Business process analysis redesign and optimization in an environment with both retail and wholesale operations Proven skills in Negotiating with vendors contractors and others Budget preparation and monitoring Planning and organizing Management and leadership of teams of project managers programmers and support specialists Communication Direct experience with implementing optimizing and supporting systems applications and integrations in a large retail divisioncompany And it would be a plus to have knowledge and experience in any of the following retail platforms JDA Merchandise Management Systems (MMS) JDA Performance Analysis by IDEAS JDA Enterprise Planning (Arthur) JDA Advanced Allocations Epicor Connected Retailer POS Epicor Connected Retailer Sales Audit Epicor CRM Manhattan Associates Warehouse and Order Management Oracle ATG Web Commerce History of working in a geographically diverse complex organization with operations that required multicurrency processing Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues both logical and interpersonal 10 15 years retail systems management development and support with an apparelfootwearaccessories retailer Compensation Base 250K+ Bonus Equity Relo
