Manhattan Associates is searching for a Vice President to join our Sales Organization. The ideal candidate will have enterprise level software solutions sales experience in the Supply Chain Management industry and will be responsible for building our Demand Forecasting & Inventory Optimization practice. This person will devise and execute market and account strategies and assist us in our efforts to increase and support our client base.
•Develops customer account strategies and tactical penetration plans.
•Develops compelling value propositions based on ROI cost/benefit analysis.
•Responsible for identifying, developing and potentially closing opportunities for Manhattan's software products and services.
•Educate assigned accounts on Manhattan Associates’ solutions
•Establish collaborative relationships with internal constituents to execute and manage contracts, resolve customer issues and coordinate successful sales activities.
•Responsible for collection of annual maintenance fees for Manhattan's software products for all assigned accounts
•Sells against annual revenue targets for software licenses and services.
•Manages to detail regarding the customer account contact management information through the entire sales lifecycle process.
Must have demonstrated experience successfully developing and maintaining relationships with C-Level Executives in Retail, Wholesale and Supply Chain Management Industries
•Must be a respected and well connected industry leader.
•Experience and success in strategically selling high value, long lead time enterprise solutions software in the Supply Chain Management industry
•Previous experience and success in selling strategic solution, implementation, and consulting services is highly desired (ideally Supply Chain Management Solutions)
•Must be able to successfully meet annual sales targets across multiple years while managing portfolio of strategic customers over a period of time
•Proven Supply Chain problem solving and new business development skills
•Outstanding presentation, facilitation, communication and negotiation skills
•Outstanding customer-focused Account Management skills
•Must have experience driving successful implementations of Supply Chain software solutions
•Will consider expertise with alternative software products i.e. Red Prairie, JDA, i2, Sterling Commerce, etc.
•Experience managing and influencing product development would be advantageous
•Experience with the delivery and deployment of these solutions would be advantageous
•High comfort level and presence with senior executives.
•Must be willing to travel 50% or more.
