DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, manage the personnel and functions of the credit union Sales, Member Services, Business Development, and Mortgage Lending departments.

DUTIES

Sales

  • Develop and maintain programs to ensure credit union financial performance, operating plan/budget performance and productivity targets are achieved.
  • Approve business development programs for expansion.
  • Ensure all credit union sales programs are maintained. Approve all sales training and coaching programs.
  • Monitor credit union business development relationship programs (key contacts: real estate, auto dealers, sponsors, etc.)
  • Monitor accumulation of accurate member information and achievement of cross-sale goals by team.
Mortgage Lending

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor the mortgage lending operations to ensure maximum utilization of resources.
  • Ensure that all internal policies and practices are followed. Encourage process improvements at all times.
  • Ensure all audits functions are completed regularly.
Member Service

  • Monitor programs to ensure credit union is meeting member service standards, operating methods, compliance, security and image are maintained and are consistent with credit union policy and guidelines.
  • Responsible for accurate evaluation of employee work performance through regularly scheduled reviews; recommend promotions, salary increases and corrective action.
  • Develop and train a competent staff to achieve departmental/credit union goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate annual plans and budget. Monitor the departments plan implementation and budget performance.
  • Remain up to date and comply with credit union policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure that all reporting departments are also in compliance.
  • Maintain the security of confidential credit union and member information contained on the systems.

Candidates should have over 5 years experience in a sales environment with proven track record of sales and sales management success. Credit union or banking experience is preferred. BS Degree required, MBA preferred.
