Rapidly growing boutique PR agency seeks a Vice President to head our tech practice in San Francisco!
Who You Are:
A seasoned team leader with experience working with tech brands people know and other brands strive to be. In addition to being the best and the brightest, you understand what makes media tick and can build a strong rapport that earns the respect of clients. Your extensive experience driving strategy, managing creative programs and motivating a talented staff of PR professionals makes you a leader and not just “the boss.” You are proactive, a smart thinker and enthusiastic. Your knowledge of social media is as much about uncovering the next big social media app as it is about bonding with co-workers. In short, we’re looking for a genuine, upbeat and motivated team leader and collaborator who does exceptional work for their clients.

We’re looking for A-Players – people who are ready and willing to “bring it” every day. We are looking for someone who can inspire a team, creatively and intellectually challenge clients and, most importantly, maintain a results-driven work ethic.
Your Skills and Experience:
You currently hold an AD or VP position at a public relations firm (candidates with agency experience who are currently in-house will also be considered)
Extensive experience representing technology clients
Strong leader and mentor
Strategic thinker, creative writer, exceptional communicator
Self-motivated team player who believes in leading by example
Well developed, agency-relevant, client and personal network relationships
Strong classical PR skills plus emerging media disciplines
Strong client relations skills
Willingness to join a “work hard, play hard” culture
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
